Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Talent Acquisition Team Lead to join the TA Operations team at our Downtown Indianapolis Locations on a hybrid schedule. 

Embedded Talent Acquisition lead ensuring alignment and outcomes at the local level.  Serves as a liaison to the Talent Acquisition leadership team and regional centers of excellence by overseeing the daily recruitment processes, metrics and programs of talent acquisition and serving as a partner with the local HR VP to ensure a recruitment strategy is in place that meets the needs of the region. Serves as the subject matter expert to lead strategic sourcing and hiring initiatives, supports the Onboarding Consultant with day to day oversight to deliver a smooth transition into the organization for new team members. Ensures local HR teams and hiring leaders stay up to date on compliance requirements, recruitment strategies, and compensation trends. Assists team members with day-to-day operations, which could include some recruitment, and formulates process improvement initiatives to continually elevate team performance. A focus on effective and efficient metrics-based reporting, sourcing strategy and process implementation will be key in this role. Leads trainings for adoption in talent acquisition process and technology to enhance hiring leader and candidate experience. Partners with Human Resource (HR) leaders and hiring managers to ensure the right recruiting strategies are in place and executed effectively and to assist in selecting the best talent.   Reports directly to Talent Acquisition with a dotted line to the regional HR Vice President.

  • Knowledge and love of sourcing and recruitment strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills- must be able to handle difficult conversations and make connections with different hiring groups
  • Prepared to be onsite frequently at both University and Methodist Hospital

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience. Requires detailed knowledge of internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience within a matrixed organization; healthcare setting preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a management or lead role preferred.
  • Requires expert knowledge of compensation structures and experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external hires.
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.).
  • Requires proven ability to assess talent and coach team members to achieve higher levels of performance and productivity.
  • Requires expertise and detailed knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Requires demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies, process improvement initiatives, and measuring ROI.
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and an applicant tracking system.
