IU Health Bloomington has an outstanding opportunity available for an RN Clinical Educator to support the Home Infusion program. This role will serve our patients who will be leaving the hospital with a need for a home IV to provide education, guidance, and coordination of care after they are discharged. This educator will walk the patient and family/caregiver through how to take care of the IV line, and how to administer the infusion. This is a full-time, fully benefit eligible role that works Monday-Friday, evening shift (1pm-9:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm).

The RN Clinical Educator plans, facilitates, implements, and evaluates trainings for clinical team members. Ensures clinical instruction is properly coordinated and team members receive adequate medical and technical instruction, exposure, and experience in their professional discipline.

• Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse strongly preferred. 
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience within Home Care or Infusion is strongly preferred.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
