IU Methodist's A6South is a fast-paced, 30 bed medical/surgical care unit. This unit specializes in trauma, urology, gynecology, uro-gynecology, general surgery, ENT, and oral maxillary facial surgery patients. Patients treated on this unit present with a wide range of diagnoses.

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

• Requires an Associate's of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
