We are seeking a Clinical Regulatory Consultant- Senior with experience in accreditation and regulatory, quality improvement, survey management, or experience working with the joint commission, to join our team of professionals at our Riley Hospital for Children location in Indianapolis.

This role will be a full time Monday-Friday day shift role.

The Accreditation and Regulatory Consultant plans, implements, directs, and facilitates activities that support system wide efforts to be successfully accredited and continuously ready for patients. This Consultant advises and consults key stakeholders and leaders on accreditation/regulatory interpretations, educates and facilitates survey preparation activities, manages and audits onside surveys, and serves as a liaison between the organization and its accreditation and regulatory bodies. This Consultant also analyzes and provides recommendations around performance and continuous quality improvement initiatives that drive organizational outcomes, drives acceptance by stakeholders and serves as an accreditation matters expert for leaders and team members.

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or healthcare related field required. Nursing preferred.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Requires 7-10 years of experience in clinical operations and/or healthcare quality.
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as a healthcare professional (e.g., Registered Nurse with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacist or Rehabilitation license.)
  • Requires strong experience in leading complex projects or systematic performance improvement.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is required.
