Job Description

Overview

Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Planned Giving Officer to join the Philanthropy team at our Indianapolis Methodist Tower with statewide travel requirements. 

We are looking for a candidate that is relationship focuses with experience in financial and estate planning, CRM, planned giving tools and techniques and a strong understanding of business development. 

The Planned Giving Officer demonstrates passion and commitment to enhance health and well-being while inspiring generosity across the state of Indiana. Manages and develops a sustainable fund development program that aligns with system priorities and includes employee campaigns, direct mail, giving societies, personal solicitations and/or other various fundraising activities. Partners internally with key stakeholders to create meaningful relationships system-wide. Implements strategic and scalable fundraising collateral. Maintains accurate recording, reporting and management of all donor information.

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Working knowledge of fundraising software i.e. Raiser's Edge.
• Proficiency in MS office required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment preferred.
