Job Description
Overview
Serves the IU Health system as a marketing liaison focused on growing Home Infusion referral volumes and revenue in alignment with current market strategy. Works to raise awareness of Home Infusion service line capabilities. Collaborates with Operations and others to resolve issues and facilitate effective bidirectional communication with referral sources. Provides education to referral sources and other stakeholders. Serves as a resource to pharmaceutical company reps regarding site of care awareness and management. Gathers and reports market intelligence to marketing and service line leadership. Serves as a resource to System Physician Liaison counterparts with respect to Home Infusion services. Primarily M-F, occasional weekend/evenings for meetings or events. Will travel throughout assigned geography on a regular basis. Minimal if any overnights required. Prefer RN or LPN who is familiar with home infusion therapy. Would consider other clinical or healthcare background. Familiarity with insurance terminology and coverage would be a plus. Mostly remote, minimal requirement to come to office. Training will involve orientation to pharmacy operations, infusion nursing services, shadowing current liaison, and working with System Health Solutions marketing team.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Involves supporting/calling on home infusion referral sources throughout IN (primarily southern IN with some responsibility in Indy area)
- Seek to grow referral volumes
- Tracking and reporting on performance metrics
- Utilizing Salesforce
- Meeting with stakeholders/referral sources
- Collaborating with pharmaceutical mfr reps
- Explain insurance coverage
- Represent IU Health Home Care Pharmacy at various events/conferences
• Prior sales experience with track record of success preferred.
• Prior Healthcare industry experience - experience with multi-site healthcare organization strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
• Ability to travel in service area on a regular basis; overnight travel may be required. Bachelors Degree required or equivalent years of experience. RN Degree preferred.
