Overview
Indiana University Health is seeking a PRN speech pathologist for our Fisher’s hospital campus. This split inpatient/outpatient position will provide acute care coverage and consistent OP care to clients with conditions such as stroke, TBI, concussion, head/neck cancer, and progressive neurological diseases.
A minimum of one year experience is required in addition to acute care experience and competence with modified barium swallow studies. LSVT certification is preferred.
Performs speech pathology services including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment. After administering the appropriate tests and measures, a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing. Performs direct patient care services including the supervision of support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
