This is a full-time/day shift Radiation Therapist position located at Arnett-Cancer Care. The hours will be Monday - Friday (8a-4:30p). On call required once per month after being fully trained.
Great team environment - We have a lot of sate of the art equipment: Two Varian TrueBeam Linear accelerators, Identify motion management system, and Calypso!
Sign-on bonus available to eligible applicants!
Responsible for applying ionizing radiation to patients for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription and instruction of a radiation oncologist. Controls the exact amount of radiation to be administered locally, and reproduces treatment fields, insuring that exposure is made only to prescribed areas. Requires high levels of quality control, safety, treatment planning and administration, patient care, and patient scheduling. May be asked to mentor those with less experience and/or students during clinical rotations.
