We have an exciting opportunity available for a Radiation Therapist to join us at our Methodist Hospital location in a PRN role.

This position will be a Day-Shift PRN role.

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for applying ionizing radiation to patients for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription and instruction of a radiation oncologist. This Therapist controls the exact amount of radiation to be administered locally, and reproduces treatment fields, ensuring that exposure is made only to prescribed areas. Requires high levels of quality control, safety, treatment planning and administration, patient care, and patient scheduling and this Radiation Therapist may be asked to mentor those with less experience and/or students during clinical rotations. Previous experience preferred.
