Overview

Methodist Hospital Outpatient Services
Day Shift -8hr. M-F. 930a-6p

Seeking a highly motivated, patient centric, team-oriented professional who is a self-starter and eager to learn. Highly engaged and open to cross training for cross functional knowledge to support Patient and Team across the Methodist Facility.

As a Delighter, one of your main goals is to provide the patient with the most convenient. 
experience possible. This includes presenting all of our registration options to the patient.
- Kiosk Self Service Registration
- Delighter Guided Kiosk Self Service Registration
- Traditional in-person Registration

The delighter role greets our patients and provides them with a delightful experience, setting the 
tone for their entire visit. Our words and the way in which we say them matter.

-Offering patient check in via Kiosk or Registrar
-Proactive Rounding 
-Being attentive to a patient’s needs and providing timely support.
-Multitask using Computer/Handheld iPads, Multiple Systems.
-Highly Collaborative with Business Partners for smooth & timely patient care.
-Opening and Closing Procedures in the space.

 
•At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
