Riley Pediatric Dentistry is seeking Dental Front Office Staff for our growing team. This is a rewarding career for individuals who are passionate about helping the children of Indiana. Our team is high energy, friendly, and knowledgeable. The Riley Pediatric Dentistry Team works for shared purpose to improve the health of Riley Kids through excellent dental care, compassionate support, and oral healthcare education.

Position Scheduled Hours – Onsite

  • Monday 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • Tuesday 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm
  • Friday 7:30am-2:00pm

Ideal candidates will have the following:

  • Strong Communication skills
  • Pediatric, orthodontic, or family dentistry experience (or other medical office experience).
  • Knowledge of Dentrix computer programs (or similar EMR applications).
  • Desire to make a difference in someone’s life.

The Registration Specialist facilitates patient flow from point of entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. They obtain specific information to generate an accurate financial and demographic record for patients that will ensure maximum reimbursement and clinical outcomes. They will schedule appointments, interview patients for appropriate medical information and explain charges and policies of the department/hospital. They will validate and enter charges into appropriate systems and collect necessary payment. They answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a health care setting preferred.
  • Requires ability to learn and retain medical coding; ICD-10; CPT coding experience preferred.
  • Requires ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
