IU Health Hospice in Bloomington, IN is currently looking for a Registered Nurse who would like to take the next step in their career as the Hospice House Supervisor! This Supervisor would work Monday-Friday, on call required. This position will allow for growth and educational opportunities. The Hospice Supervisor supervises nursing and an interdisciplinary team for daily patient care assignments. Provides for the effective recruitment, onboarding, retention, coaching, supervision and leadership of assigned team members. Conducts and leads daily huddles/team meetings. Manages clinical outcomes working with quality/state team on quality metrics. Leads new program initiatives, processes, policies and procedures. Manages ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions. Promotes a team-oriented and service-conscious environment. Assures care for patients and families is reflective of the organization's core values.

 3-5 years of clinical experience required. Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in area of specialization, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or social work. Nursing strongly preferred.
• Requires current State of Indiana license in area of specialization, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or social work. RN Strongly preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Current Indiana driver's license, proof of insurance and a safe driving record required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
