Overview
As a Pulmonary Technologist you will be responsible and accountable for performing pulmonary diagnostic testing and administering comprehensive respiratory care services with an appropriate documentation in the medical record of the therapy provided.
Our Pulmonary Technologists work closely with our medical team to evaluate, advise treatment plans, and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders ranging in modalities and demographics. They are also responsible for collaborating in a patient centered care environment to ensure total customer happiness and support.

• Requires graduation from a CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) and regionally accredited respiratory care program.
• Requires Healthcare Provider Certification. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require registration as a (RPFT) Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist within two years of hire date.
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential by the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) preferred.
• Certified or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist credential by the NBRC preferred.
• Preferred ACLS; PALS; and/or NRP certification. Requires basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR.
