This Interventional Radiology RN position primarily focuses on sedation and monitoring for patients undergoing various procedures. The patient interaction is 1 on 1 and can take anywhere from 30-minutes to a few hour(s) pending the length of the procedure. Our patient population is adult only and ranges from low to high acuity. 

Shift: Four 9-hour shifts Monday – Friday from 6:30am – 4:00pm. There is an on-call requirement (typically one evening per week) with one weekend every fourth week. The on-call requires a 30-minute response time from the hospital.

Qualifications

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
