Job Description

Overview

We offer fully equipped, technologically sophisticated operating rooms where our surgeons perform gastroenterology procedures. We are a highly functioning team looking for someone who exhibits strong initiative, compassion, high integrity, and teamwork. The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of proficient, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and improve operational efficiency. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a requirement! Does this sound like you? 

We are looking for a RN with previous experience, but would consider a candidate with procedural, labor and delivery, cath lab or endoscopy.

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
