Overview
Summary
IU Health Home Health provides our patients with comprehensive care delivered by a highly trained interdisciplinary team. The IU Health Home Health LPN will work closely with the RN case manager to provide skilled care in patients’ homes. The traditional, complementary, alternative, and holistic services that IU Health Home Health professionals offer add to our patients’ overall quality of life.
Home Health nurses will experience a team approach to serve patients while enjoying flexibility and autonomy to provide individualized care. Nurses provide one-on-one patient centered care utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills including (but not limited to) infusion therapy, central line care, catheter care/management, wound care, VAC management, ostomy care/management and patient education. Imagine having the time to connect with patients and families, establish meaningful relationships and assist them to achieve their treatment goals throughout the care continuum. Shift
This is a 5 day a week 8 hour position with some on call responsibilities.
