Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health Manager

Job Description

Overview

In partnership with the Indiana Department of Mental Health Administration (DMHA), IU Health, and Riley Children’s Foundation, the Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health program was developed to integrate pediatric behavioral health care into the IU Health primary care system to address unmet behavioral health needs in children and adolescents. With expert ongoing consultation to support pediatricians and family medicine providers, integrated care will increase access and directly provide evidence-based family-oriented assessments, virtual psychotherapies, and medication consultation. Integrating mental health services into a wellness driven medical home model normalizes behavioral health and reduces stigma – making care more accessible. It also results in less costly care, clear pathways for additional services, frees up slots in psychiatric specialty clinics and a strengthened collaboration between Primary Care and Behavioral Health providers.

IU Health is currently seeking an innovative leader to support the new and growing Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health team! This role allows for a hybrid-remote work environment and will require occasional travel to sites in the Indianapolis area. The Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health Manager will have 2 direct reports. Our ideal candidate has experience within the Behavioral Health field and training.

At IU Health, your personal and professional growth is a top priority. You will have access to many diverse opportunities to learn and develop in meaningful ways that matter most to you, such as training, leadership development, promotion opportunities and cross training development.  We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed for you, which includes Medical-Dental-Vision, a matching 401K, PTO, tuition reimbursement program, wellness program, and more!
