Analyst - Pharmacy Informatics Intermediate

This analyst position is suitable for a pharmacist that will be responsible for the build and support of the pharmacy inpatient and outpatient venues of care, as well as involved with medication-related workflows and builds throughout the system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with clinicians to maintain and design clinical IS programs. 
  • Leads regularly scheduled tasks to ensure system is operating efficiently and optimally. 
  • Performs all required break/fix actions or coordinates break/fix actions with the vendor or other IS teams. 
  • Participates in training sessions in support of new hires and the teams continuous improvement. 
  • Participate in on-call rotation for the service and support of personnel throughout the system. 
  • Escalates issues as needed to leadership. 
  • Leads testing for planned system upgrades and for enhancements. 
  • Assists with maintaining PharmNet team documentation. 
  • Identifies improvement and cost saving opportunities. 
  • Demonstrates and promotes high quality customer service through the problem-solving process. 
  • Participates with internal customers in design sessions for the improvement of the clinical systems.

PREFERRED:

  • Pharmacy experience (inpatient or outpatient preferred)
  • Basic Microsoft product experience
  • Leading initiatives, projects, or work
  • Ability to work autonomously

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree Required.
  • Active Indiana Pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Willingness to be On-Call.
  • 3-5 years Experience with Electronic Medical Records or Pharmacy Practice.
  • Experience with build and maintenance of EMR Data and/or databases.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Preferred.
