Analyst-Information Services Clinical Intermediate 

(This position is a hybrid with some onsite expectations in Indianapolis, Indiana)

This role is on the Clinical Events Optimization team which is a Cerner EMR build and support team for foundational Cerner solutions such as Event Set Hierarchy, I-Flowsheet, and PowerForms. This role will have responsibilities as production support, solution optimization and project deliverables along with being a part of a 24/7 on call rotation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs ongoing system support, administration, maintenance and upgrades of clinical applications. 
• Maintains up-to-date system test scripts and system documentation for assigned applications and functionality. 
• Conducts on-site workflow assessments and identifies best practice standards. 
• Analyzes, designs, and builds clinical applications to satisfy the needs of the user departments. 
• Maintains a high level of interaction with all clinical areas to continually enhance/improve patient care.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

• Experience with databases or clinical applications
• EMR build and configuration experience
• Cerner build and configuration experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience required.
• Requires current license/certification or eligibility (e.g. RN).
• Requires experience in a clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing).
• Requires experience with clinical systems or experience implementing/supporting clinical systems.
