Job Description

Overview

The Operational Program Manager drives the development, management, and coordination of program activities and services. It contributes to budgeting and resource allocation planning to ensure that the program meets the overall objectives and initiatives. It evaluates current practices; develops and implements a course of action to remedy any deficiencies with respect to departmental policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, it acts a liaison to other departments and collaborates with internal and external partners ensuring the delivery of optimal service and/or patient care.

The CompleteLife Program is a comprehensive therapy program that attends to the body, mind, and spirit of the whole person. Serving patients and families of IU Health Simon Cancer Center and University Hospital, CompleteLife programming is offered complementary to adult patients with critical and chronic illness. Services available include: art therapy, music therapy, oncology massage, yoga therapy, cancer support groups, and arts in healthcare programs. Additionally, the CompleteLife Program partners with the Cancer Resource Center that offers information about resources at IU Health and in the community to help patients and their loved ones navigate the cancer journey.  The CompleteLife Program is made possible by IU Health University Hospital and philanthropic support from generous donors to the IU Health Foundation and the Riley Cheer Guild.

 Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Certification/licensure may be required per unit/department specialty.
• Program management experience is preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Requires experience working in a complex, matrix environment.
