IU Health is growing! We are currently seeking a collaborative and experienced leader, who is inspired by challenging and meaningful work for the good of every patient. The Clinical Ambulatory Manager will provide oversight of the Infectious Disease Clinic within the Methodist Towers, located in the heart of Indianapolis. They will lead a team of approximately 10 direct reports consisting of clinical and non-clinical staff and have the opportunity to work with 30 providers. The ideal leader will have a background as an RN in both the ambulatory setting as well inpatient. Prior experience leading a team is essential. The clinical manager combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. Accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. Accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit. Incumbents will lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional nursing standards.
