Job Description

Overview

The Director – Supply Chain Regional manages supply chain operations at multiple facilities. This leader leads teams in cost reductions, utilization improvements and system-wide standardization initiatives. They support and execute procurement and contracting strategies and oversee the implementation and use of the Supply Chain Information System. The Director develops supply chain processes and implements best practices for assigned facilities by reporting outcomes, improving quality and organizational effectiveness. This leader accounts for overall facilities operations through the use of strategy, policy, direction and action plans. They own the ongoing analysis, development, and execution of methods and systems to improve overall services and functions.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Preferred Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Required 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Supply Chain environment.
  • Demonstrated 3-4 years of management experience.
  • Some assignments may be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred.
