RCIS Systems Analyst

(this position is hybrid and will require some onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana)

Join IU Health as a User Provisioning Analyst working on User Provisioning and Access Management.  This is a pivotal role wherein you will help manage access to various applications while ensuring compliance with our security protocols.  You will be responsible for the setting up and the maintenance of user accounts, assisting in troubleshooting access issues, and working with those inside and outside of the team to streamline processes.  You will be an ideal candidate if you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy and have (or you are willing to develop) strong problem-solving skills, and you possess experience in healthcare IT/IS or revenue cycle management.  We welcome you to join our team in support of IU Health as we strive to make Indiana one of the nation's healthiest states.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position exists to provide evaluation, implementation, and support of Revenue Cycle information systems. The incumbent will be responsible for ongoing system support, administration, maintenance, upgrades, and be the onsite vendor liaison for Revenue Cycle associated applications. This position is responsible for ensuring that all Revenue Cycle applications are available and functioning properly and that customer requests are satisfied on time and with the highest quality. Duties will involve problem analysis, issue resolution, and on-call support. This position will work closely with Systems Analysts, end users, technical IS staff, and application vendors. Entry level assigned to relatively straightforward IS application work. Incumbent knows and can represent a basic understanding of information systems. Ability to analyze data at a base level and learn systems concepts is demonstrated. Work is typically routine in nature and instructions are fairly detailed. Incumbent performs tasks under close supervision but identifies basic discrepancies and effectively escalates questions, issues, and key decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products. Requires the ability to read and comprehend written instructions and procedures.
• Requires in-depth process knowledge of Revenue Cycle operations or general information systems knowledge.
