Supply Chain Inventory Control Analyst-Intermediate

As an inventory control analyst, you'll be the problem-solving guru responsible for keeping our inventory operations running smoothly. Technology has transformed the inventory control analyst's role from a primarily manual and reactive position to a more strategic and proactive one, leveraging data-driven insights, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory management and drive operational efficiency.  Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will help you identify areas for improvement and collaborate on innovative solutions. It's a hands-on role where you'll be gathering insights from the day-to-day inventory operations, as well as implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.  Whether it's in grocery, retail, manufacturing, or any other industry, your expertise in inventory control will be invaluable to our team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides analysis, reporting and data discovery services for end-users under general supervision. 
  • Incorporates end-user requests and requirements to develop enterprise reporting/dashboarding solutions. 
  • Collaborates with end-users to generate and prepare solutions to support business and clinical objectives. 
  • Administers access and maintains data warehouse security to ensure reliability and security of data. 
  • Provides assistance in training end-users on reporting tools. 
  • Provides support on projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives. 
  • Assists leadership on small to medium size projects. 
  • Solves moderately complex problems. 
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration or a relevant field
  • Certifications like Certified Materials Resource Planner (CMRP), Certified Purchasing Inventory Management (CPIM) certification, or APICS certification/coursework
  • A minimum of two (2) years related experience in inventory control analyst warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or distribution, and customer service

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience required.
  • Requires knowledge of SQL programming.
