Overview
This nature of this position is a floating position trained in all areas of Supply Chain responsibility in an effort to provide coverage for scheduled days for employees having worked the weekend, scheduled PTO, and unscheduled staff absences. This position is also responsible for assisting with Receiving functions on the Dock as well as assistance with completion and/or implementation of department projects and processes. The hours are 6A-2:30 M-F and a weekend rotation every other month. The position may require a 5AM start time when backfilling for a 5AM role.
Facilitates requisitions, inventory management, receiving and projects. Manages nonstock, specials, bill-only and perpetual orders. Ensures accurate and timely receipt of materials within the facility. Receives inbound freight with precision, assures the assigned time for daily priorities is met, and communicates and resolves discrepancies. Receives and stages all inbound materials accurately and efficiently. Effectively utilizes the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to document all receiving activity including Purchase Order (PO) Stock items, PO Nonstock items, and Non-PO items. Performs advance duties in the ERP system as required. Transports items to end users and documents transactions in the ERP system. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of patient information. This position may require weekend coverage.
