The Administrative Director serves as an influential and strategic leader across the Urgent Care service line, this position is responsible for the long-term vision and execution of patient service integration across the core departments for the assigned service line. The director is responsible in increasing market share by leading collaborative and strategic partnerships with program leaders, hospital leadership and physicians to optimize patient experience in results, efficiencies, and value. Through the incumbent's efforts, the service line will become known as a preeminent level of service in the community and a value-based options seek out when deciding upon their healthcare needs.

  • This role will be based in Indianapolis, with frequent travel to IU Health’s statewide Urgent Care clinics. 

 

Key Relationships
Reports to: Executive Director - Retail Health Services
Direct Reports: Practice Managers
Key Relationships: Physician Leader, Advanced Practice Provider Team Leads, Occupational Health Leaders.

 

Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.
  • Masters preferred.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience in designated service line area.
  • Leadership experience with a large department / multi-site
  • Familiarity with current research on appropriate level of care for assigned service level.
