Overview
This position exists to assist the Manger in planning, coordinating, and supervising the overall operation of environmental service functional areas including the hospital, clinics, support service buildings and their grounds. Supervises the training programs, conference room set-up, moving, and laundry services. Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state and federal codes. Supervises cleaning work for quality and effectiveness.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to acquire an understanding of cleaning principles and processes.
• Production and goal oriented.
• Ability to track and perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to integrate new information into practice.
• Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement.
• Supervisory experience in a facility; general cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to integrate new information into practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Strong written and verbal combination skills.
• Ability to acquire an understanding of codes and regulations including JC, HFAP, ISDH, OSHA, and other agencies.
