IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital invites passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to apply for the exciting role of RN Educator supporting our NICU and Pediatric Units. This part-time position is a fully-benefit eligible position that will require some evening and weekend shifts, depending on unit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and assess innovative educational programs focused on emergency response and medical management.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team, including subject matter experts and multimedia developers, to enhance educational initiatives.
• Foster a nurturing learning environment for staff and valued external partners.
• Partner with departmental leadership and other organizational teams to assess educational needs and create evidence-based curricula tailored to various audiences.

Qualifications:

• Requires 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience. Previous NICU or Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires current organizational-specified CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.
• Requires knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory requirements, and educational program management.
• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and software applications. v2
• May require the ability to travel to within state of Indiana.
