Join Our Team at Indiana Endoscopy Center - Methodist! 

Are you passionate about making a difference in healthcare? We have an immediate opening for a Supplemental Endoscopy Technician who will play a vital role in helping screen Hoosiers for colorectal cancer. This position directly supports IU Health's mission to make Indiana one of the healthiest states in the nation. 

We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment and has a keen eye for details - teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. 

Position Highlights: 

  • Day shift only - Monday through Friday 
  • No weekends or holidays
  • Supplemental position - ideal for those seeking flexible hours or additional experience 

Endoscopy technicians provide service and support before, during and after endoscopic procedures. Ensures the presence and proper arrangement of equipment and supplies in the endoscopy room prior to each procedure, assists the physician during the endoscopic procedure as allowed by professional and legal standards, cleans the endoscope after the procedure and expedites room turnover. Provides basic care and some diagnostic tests. Responsible for maintaining the endoscopic equipment and maintaining supply inventory.

 High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current certification as a CNA, CRCST, CER, or CST is preferred
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Knowledge of various endoscopic procedures and previous experience preferred.
•  Requires knowledge of name and function of various endoscopes and related endoscopic equipment.
