CDL Driver - Mobile Screening Services (PRN)

Job Description

Overview

Details: PRN/supplemental CDL driver for Mobile lung screening unit. Mostly weekend coverage with the possibility of weekday coverage. Hours will vary between 7:00am to 6:00pm depending on the coverage need. Experience driving larger trucks and/or semis.

 

Coordinates driving the mobile health screening coach to various locations throughout the state of Indiana for screening events, community events and regular maintenance/repair services.  Responsible for the proper set up and tear down of the coach adhering to manufacturer guidelines to create a safe patient and team member environment around and on the coach.  Ensures the route of travel and parking location will accommodate the vehicle size and weight and returns the coach to the approved parking location at the end of the day, unless overnight stay is planned.  Ensures all required pre and post trip inspections are completed and documented as required.  Assists patients with entering/exiting the coach and registration.

  • High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires a valid CDL B license.
  • Requires a current valid Indiana drivers license with a good driving record over the past 5 years.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • Requires knowledge using GPS, Electronic Logging Devices, and basic computer skills.
  • Requires knowledge of Federal and State Department of Transportation rule and regulations.
