Oversees and coordinate the daily clinical services of the hospital pharmacy and its staff. Provides comprehensive medication-related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. Acts in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals in the responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes. Is responsible for assisting the pharmacy director with preparing and performing all activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. Assists the Director in complying with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Will assists in new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives. Responsible for pharmacy performance in key domains such as team member experience, patience experience, quality, safety, and financial stewardship.
Strong preference to candidates with clinical pharmacy experience.
PGY1/PGY2 residency and/or board certification preferred.
