Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a Rehab Tech to join our team at Riley Hospital! This position will predominantly support the Audiology and Speech teams with outpatient needs and will be exposed to multiple disciplines within Rehab Services.
Good problem solving, communication, organization and ability to work independently are very important in this position. This position includes hearing assistance product reconciliation, supply inventory and management, room turnover assistance, some patient transport and minimal direct patient care assistance. Maintains and cleans treatment areas and equipment. Orders, distributes and maintains designated and appropriate inventory of department related supplies. May perform scheduling, customer service and some clerical duties.
This is a full time, day shift position. There will be some weekend and holiday coverage.

• Requires successful completion of the rehabilitation technician training program within 3 months of hire.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Rehab experience preferred.
• Requires familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures.

- High School Diploma or GED is required.Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA within 6 months of hire. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Requires successful completion of the rehabilitation technician training program within 3 months of hire.
