Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a master?s degree in nursing required.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Indiana, or eligible for Indiana licensure.
• Current qualifications to practice as an advance practice nurse in the state of Indiana.
• Functions within the legal boundaries of their advanced practice area and shall have and utilize knowledge of the statutes and rules governing their advanced practice areas, including the following:state and federal drug laws and regulations, state and federal confidentiality laws and regulations as well as state and federal medical records access laws.

For CNS opening in Cancer Services:Requires Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN�) by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation is to be attained within 1 year of hire date.Demonstrated expertise in the practice of nursing validated by 3-5 years of recent oncology experience.Maintains CEU?s to be current with Oncology focus.Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
