Overview
We are seeking a candidate with clinical experience caring for cardiovascular patient populations and experience with surgical OR patients!
Responsible for the abstracting high integrity data and the reporting of quality data to external agencies throughout the organization. Examples include, and not limited to CMS, patient safety organizations, private payers, and professional societies. Key job duties and responsibilities include abstracting information from the EMR and conducting concurrent and or retrospective review of medical records in order to facilitate the analysis, monitoring and reporting of quality data. Identifies system opportunities for data integrity and improved performance. Supports the achievement of system and regional objectives by collaborating with hospital partners for improved patient care. Success is accomplished by timely high integrity data that may be used to improve patient care and organizational performance.
