IU Health is happy to offer a full time opportunity for a staff Ultrasound Technologist with a home base in our Saxony location in Fishers, with rotation to our North location in Carmel. We strive to provide quality imaging in a team environment. Our newest Team Member will work three twelve hour shifts per week, 6am-630pm. Ideal candidates will have pediatric and limited vascular experience. However, training would be provided if necessary. Abdominal RDMS certification is required, and RVT certification is required within one year of hire. Our newest member will also be willing to be flexible, reliable, and practice independent judgment. Given that we service the hospital, there are after-hours on-call needs with this position.
This individual performs ultrasound procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.
