Program Director-Strategic Planning

Job Description

Overview

Executes, develops, and manages planning that supports the leadership team in operationalizing short term and long term strategic goals. Manages complex projects, identifies analytical capabilities, and possesses the curiosity to ask probing questions that drive insight. Develops practical solutions by partnering across IUH. Works in collaboration with the VP of Strategy to apply standard planning processes and analytics to local market conditions in support of the local leadership team. Creates strategic roadmaps that are prioritized based on business objectives and organizational feasibility. Assesses new business opportunities in partnership with the hospital leadership team. Fosters an environment that encourages innovative ideas from team members and builds buy-in across the system. Works autonomously and exercises initiative and balanced judgment. Drives continuous improvement initiatives by supporting the development of structures and processes to enhance operational performance. Directs efforts to identify operational improvements to maximize performance, establish best practices, financial improvements, and increased productivity and efficiencies.
 MBA, MHA or equivalent experience in a business role (Business Strategy, Business Development, Administrative Fellow etc.) required.
•7-10 years of relevant experience required.
