Overview

We have a Respiratory Care Practitioner opening at Bedford Hospital! We are searching for individuals who are compassionate, serve with a purpose, are dedicated to supporting their team, and who seek excellence every day.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner administers and discontinues all therapy as appropriate. Maintains records as appropriate to therapy delivered. Delivers and cleans equipment. Typical weekly shift is 6:00am - 6:30pm with a minimum of 24 hours worked per week. Will include some weekends and holidays.

 Requires current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana.
• Requires graduation from high school.
• Requires Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification.
•Requires strong customer service.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills; as well as strong telephone skills.
• Requires the ability to deal with confidential patient information.
• Requires basic computer skills and ability to work in EMR.
• Requires a basic knowledge of infection control procedure.
• Requires the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to insure optimal patient care.
• Requires strong organizational skills.
