Job Description

Overview

The Diversity Recruitment Program Manager is a key strategic role within the system talent acquisition team and human resources function.  This individual will drive the innovative development, management, reporting and coordination of diversity recruitment activities at IU Health, to support a diverse and inclusive culture that represents the community we serve.  Reporting to VP of Talent Acquisition, with a dotted line to the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, this role serves diversity recruitment efforts for every level of the organization, and participates as a member of the TA leadership team. The ability to quickly earn credibility and build effective relationships with executives, clinicians, and candidates, both internally and externally, will be critical to success.  This individual will enjoy fast pace, meaningful and results oriented work, and must thrive in a values based, team oriented environment. 

What you will do in the role
Assist in the development of strategic plans for the system and leads the development of sustainable, documented processes to support the business. Execute on initiatives based on sound data and leads performance improvement initiatives. Develop, monitor, and report on operational performance, trending analysis and market comparisons, and special projects related to growth and financial performance. Contribute to budgeting and resource allocation planning to ensure that the talent acquisition diversity recruitment investments meet the function’s overall objectives and initiatives. Act a liaison and trusted resource to TA, HR teams, leaders, ERP team, and vendors, while addressing high priority, sensitive issues as needed. Partner with TA leaders as an operational best practice consultant and implementer, identifying system process improvement opportunities to streamline activities within the TA function. Serve as an ambassador for the TA function to outside organizations, candidates, business units/regions as assigned. 

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    Bachelor’s degree is required.
•    Requires 5-7 years of relevant and complex experience.
•    4-7 years of diversity recruitment experience strongly preferred.
•    Program management experience preferred.
•    Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
•    Requires experience handling highly complex, challenging situations requiring exemplary professional judgment and diplomacy.
•    Requires experience working in a complex, matrix environment.
