Overview

The IU West Hospital Cath Lab is a program providing patients with access to lifesaving treatments, cutting-edge technology and research based medicine. The cardiac cath lab team cares for adult cardiac patients using team work, strong critical thinking and quick interventions. The RN provides hands on care for patients undergoing diagnostic heart caths, interventional cardiac caths and structural heart procedures. In the cath lab, nurses have the opportunity to use their nursing skills and experience to make an immediate impact on our patient's lives.

Radiology, Emergency Dept, and/or ICU experience preferred

Shift: 4- 10 hour

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
