Job Description

Overview

The Quality Improvement Specialist at Riley Hospital for Children provides leadership, coordination, planning, and project management to ensure the delivery of quality care. Leads a multidisciplinary continuous quality improvement program to improve patient outcomes. Success is demonstrated through internal and external key quality indicators. Highly effective communicator of quality improvement methodology and proven ability to utilize effectively. Ability and proven record of translating evidence into practice. Effectively leads interdisciplinary teams.


 Masters Degree required.  5-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Registered Nurse, from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
• Preferred: Certification in specialty (example: NE-BC, CNS-BC, CPHQ, etc.)
• Proficient knowledge and skill using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Member of professional organizations and statewide efforts aimed at improving outcomes (if applicable)
• Proven track record of project management experience
