Provides administrative and educational direction for the Respiratory Therapy Program. Supervises instructional personnel, develops and manages cost center budgets, and maintains program accreditation with national agencies. Develops curriculum, policies and procedures to ensure the maintenance of the program. Provides continuing education for hospital employees and non-hospital physician and professional groups.

Master's Degree Required

• Requires current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and current licensure as a   Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Indiana.

•Requires 5-7 years of experience, 4 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years in clinical respiratory care, and 4 years of teaching experience as faculty or clinical preceptor in a Commission on Accreditation in Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited Respiratory Therapy program or equivalent.

• Requires knowledge of adult education principles and applications, curriculum design and instructional methodology.

• Requires ability to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum and training resources.

• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and applications.

• Requires the ability to assess and diagnose learner needs.
