Are you interested in providing excellent nursing care to patients in a new way?

We are seeking personable, compassionate nurses to join our team in the Virtual Care Center. In this role, the field RNs are responsible for completing and documenting head-to-toe assessments, medication histories, venipuncture and capillary draws, and administering vaccines to patients in the home setting. The field RN also sets up the necessary video and audio technology and facilitates a virtual health assessment by the Virtual Care Center Advanced Practice Provider during the home visit. Upon completion of the home visit, patient referrals are made to the necessary specialty services based on patient need (colonoscopy, mammography, specialty care coordination, etc).

RNs in this role work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. No weekend or holiday commitment! Role is eligible for mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
