Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital is seeking an Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist to join our dynamic Pharmacy Services team! This position has been in place for 3 years and is funded.
IUHBMH is the 300-bed community teaching hospital in Muncie, Indiana home to Ball State University. Our Family Medicine Residency has been in place since 1979, our Internal Medicine Residency has been in place since 1985, and our PGY1 Pharmacy Residency has been in place since 2016. The successful applicant will collaborate with 3 Infectious Diseases physicians, our Infection Prevention Department, and our progressive Inpatient Pharmacy Department consisting of 30 pharmacists and 50 technicians.
The ideal candidate will have successfully completed an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency, a teaching certificate, be eligible for BCIDP, and be licensed or license-eligible in Indiana. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess both excellent technical and people skills.
