Overview
We are looking for a full time Physical Therapist to join our team at University Hospital! This position rotates within acute care, this PT will have exposure to several areas in the acute care setting.
This individual will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support education. Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Responsibilities include supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
This position offers the opportunity to explore various areas of specialty within the region, access to mentorship and clinical resources. Team members in a similar role have gone on to do program development, teaching, research.
