Overview
We are looking for a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team at Riley Hospital! Previous pediatric acute care experience is preferred.
The key responsibilities of this role include: Acute care-coverage for Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, Heme-Onc, Burn, Cardio, Infant development, and the ability to cover pediatric rehab unit. This individual provides occupational therapy services for the treatment of physical and psychological dysfunctions. Provides direct patient care using a variety of sensorimotor, functional, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help patients regain physical or mental functioning. Appropriately supervises occupational therapy assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
This is a PRN position. Availability during the week and weekends for acute care/rehab. There is a weekend and holiday requirement: a minimum of 6 weekend days per 6 months and one holiday or holiday weekend per year.
