Job Description


Collaborates with leadership and team members to complete strategic projects, which may cover topics including finance, accounting, marketing, operations or other areas. This position is responsible for but not limited to: completing pieces or segments of the broader Vendor Partnership Management team’s strategic work and elements of the standard business needs.  This will include research on and development of XBE and D&I standards, surveying and tracking for certain vendor classes, management of updating business associated agreements with vendors, and drafting, researching and collecting documentation for certain vendors contracts. 

Throughout this internship you will gain a working knowledge of the tracking, reporting and budgeting needs of a vendor portfolio, develop research skills around industry standards and practices, gain familiarity with standard contracting terms and provisions, learn to develop programmatic documentation                                              

Additional position related requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program for health administration, law or business administration
  • Must display professional and formal written skills
  • Will be responsible for a presentation of the assigned scope of work for the internship
  • Needs to be self – motivated with interest in policy, contracting, written procedures, law and compliance
  • Must be comfortable collaborating with vendors and reviewing contracts

Schedule expectations

  • Internship duration: mid May through the end of July
  • Anticipated schedule: no less than 20 hours per week


  • Requires current enrollment in an Associate's, Bachelor's, and/or Master's Degree Program
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
