Overview

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Wound Care team! This team has approximately 30 PTs between both acute wound care and outpatient wound care settings. Dedicated to the outpatient wound center is 2 Medical Assistants, 1 Clinical RN, 1 Wound Ostomy Continence RN, 1 Hyperbaric Tech, and 1 Nurse Practitioner. We function very highly as a team and support each other throughout the day to help care for our complex patients.

This position will start in the acute care setting then transition to the OP Wound Center. Previous wound care experience is preferred, but not required. The ability to multitask is very important for this role. Key responsibilities of this role are: Evaluation and assessment of multiple wound types. Set up and implementation of plan of care for wound management from the PT perspective. This individual provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

This is a full time, day shift position. Hours worked will typically be 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. There are a few exceptions. There are weekend and holiday requirements with this position.
