Job Description

Overview

We're looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team! This unique position will allow you to travel to several sites within the South-Central Region to cover patient care. This position will travel to Bloomington Hospital and Morgan Hospital.

Previous outpatient experience is preferred. Physical therapist assistants provide direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. It is important to have flexibility in this role. PTA's assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and clinical supervision of physical therapist assistant students as well as provide guidance and supervision for support personnel. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

This is a full time, day shift position. This position will primarily work during the week, but there could occasionally be some weekend coverage needed.

We are a team of 15 consisting of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists who provide coverage throughout the South-Central Region. Sound like the perfect match? Apply today - we can't wait to hear from you!

 Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program, or if foreign trained, graduation from an assistant physical therapist education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA. Requires certification as an Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Indiana. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
