Job Description


The Regional Director of Human Resources will lead and manage the delivery of comprehensive HR support to South Central Region leaders and team members. In partnership with the Regional Vice President of Human Resources, this leader will execute and operationalize the human resources function including, but not limited to, employee relations, performance management and basic compensation and benefits processes. They will partner with leaders to deliver on best practice human resource strategies, and coach direct reports as they conduct workforce planning analysis to ensure the right retention and recruitment strategies are in place and being executed effectively. This leader will also coach direct reports as they work with leaders to address employee relations and performance issues and leads the planning and implementation of system-wide HR projects or initiatives such as annual performance reviews, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion initiatives, succession planning and career development. The Regional Director will serve as a first-line point of contact for senior leadership and addresses high priority, sensitive issues as needed.


  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of experience.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Professional certifications such as SPHR, etc. preferred.  
  • Experience leading the design, implementation and execution of human resource programs.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of several functional areas of Human Resources.
  • Experience leading and implementing sourcing and recruiting best practices.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and complex work environment.
  • Experience handling highly complex, challenging situations requiring exemplary professional judgement and diplomacy.
  • Experience coaching and developing diverse groups and all levels of professionals.
  • Ability to guide the application of human resource related regulations and laws (e.g.; FSLA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Basic proficiency in MS office required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Key Relationships

Reports to: Regional Vice President – Human Resources, South Central Region   

Direct reports: 7 individual contributors
