Job Description

Overview

Provides culinary leadership and trains staff in the production of food for Food and Nutrition. Supports the production of hot and cold food for patients, retail, catering operation, and the room service program. Work with Food Service Director and Production Manager (Chef) in a large volume kitchen. The Chef takes responsibility to plan production, maintain records and training.
 5-7 years of food services/prep experience.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Requires knowledge of HACCP standards and Indiana State Department of Health Regulations.
• Certification in ServSafe, Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or ISDOH Approved Certification of Food Handler required.
